PROGRAMS

Each program is designed to gradually increase a person’s level of fitness to a stage where they are capable of completing long distances with minimum effort or damage to their bodies.  Completion of the program will increase a member’s level of endurance. The fresh air, social interaction and personal achievements will provide an improved state of mind.

PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING PROGRAM

There are three levels in this program and a beginner will take 14 weeks to complete it. A person whose level of fitness is much higher, will be able to complete the field program at a much faster rate, but only on the Fitness Manager/Trainer’s advice.

ROAD PROGRAM

The member will graduate to the road after successfully completing the field program. There will be a gradual increase in distance to increase their level of endurance, under controlled supervision. Once mastered, the member will be able to complete very long distances and even compete in marathons.

CITY TO SURF PROGRAM

Specially designed for those people who would like to enter this 12 kilometre fun run, and who would like to increase their level of fitness to enable them to do so. The program takes 16 weeks to complete. This program begins in May and finishes at the end of August.

SENIOR’S PROGRAM

Senior members are encouraged to participate in sessions where stretching and balance exercises are the focus. The seniors program is a modified version of the personal training program with the emphasis being on individual challenges that are fun and achievable for the majority of seniors.
